Owen Phelps, age 80 of Edmonton, Ky. passed away
June 17, 2023 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green.
He was a son of the late Millard and Lonia
Garrett Phelps and of the Methodist Faith. He was a construction worker.
He is survived by one daughter Gloria
Phelps and one son Daniel Phelps of Glasgow; and two grandchildren Amber (Adam)
Burton and Timothy Jessie; two great grandchildren Isaiah White-Jessie and Mukenzie
Jessie; one sister Helen Jessie of Edmonton and two brothers Arkley and Gene (Jo
Ann) Phelps of Edmonton.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in
death by sisters Onia Garrett, Rae Dial and Linda Dickson and one brother Jimmy
Phelps.
A memorial service will be held later as
cremation was chosen.
Memorial contributions are encouraged to be
made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

My Dad lived a very full and exciting life. He never met a stranger , he always tried to be as helpful to all as much as he could. Yes sometimes he could be snappy and grumpy, but I believe that comes from being the oldest and having so much fall on your shoulders. Daddy was full of life smiling laughing when every time you saw him. Thank you God for blessing me with best father anyone person could ever hope to have. I love you Daddy and I miss you so much already. Always in my 💜 you will remain. Love your Daughter, until we meet again.
