IVAN DAVID WALKER

Ivan David Walker, age 78 of Center, formerly of Nobob, died Monday, June 27 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.  He was a son of the late Samuel and Berniece Wilborn Walker and was a self employed furniture maker.  He was a member of the Ky. Bluegrass Fiddlers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Cruce Walker;  two daughters, Jennifer Moonsong Walker of Nobob and Tammy Walker of Edmonton;  one step daughter, Melissa (Jimmy) Mandrell of Scottsville;  a daughter-in-law, Beverly Walker of Summer Shade; two sons, Eddie (Linda) Walker of Summer Shade and Rickie Walker of Edmonton, two step-sons, Richard and Dennis Burris of Ohio;  fourteen grandchildren and six step grandchildren and twenty eight great grandchildren; two sisters,Nellie Fernandez and JoAnne Walden both of Glasgow;  two brothers, Robert (Shirley ) Walker of Shepherdsville and Oren Walkerof Cave City.
In addition to is parents, he was preceded in death by son Ronnie (Goat Man ) Walker,grandson, Terry David Walker, sister ImogeneWestmoreland and step son, Russell McCluskey.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 1 at 11:00 AM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Janes officiating.  Burial will follow in the  Wallker Family Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Thursday, June 30 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

BR0. ROBERT DOUGLAS (DOUG ) PARKS

Bro. Robert Douglas (Doug) Parks, age 66 of Summer Shade, died Monday, June 27 at the Monroe Co. Medical Center.  He was a son of the late Robert and Idell Oliver Parks and a self employed mechanic.  He was a member and former Pastor of Cornerstone Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jo Thomas Parks; three daughters, Melissa (Todd) Barbour and Michelle (Donald ) Finn both of Glasgow and Julie Wethington of Liberty;  two sons, Mark (Cathy ) Parks of Summer Shade and Michael (Gina) Davis of Red Boiling Springs,Tn. two sisters, Martha (Bob) Johnson and Zeldine (Bob) Miller both of Lexington;  one brother, Paul Parks of Colorado.Eight grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 2 at 2:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro Cecil Dickson and Bro Mark Parks officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shirley-Baldock Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Friday, July 1 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shirley-Baldock Cemetery or the Summer Shade Fire Dept.

MICHAEL RAY BOWLES

Michael Ray Bowles, age 56 of the Eighty Eight Community,died Sunday, June 26 at his home.  He was a son of the late Raymond and Verda Mae Matthews Bowles and was a self employed construction worker.
He is survived by two daughters, Trisha (John) Shirley and Kynethia Bowles, both of Greenwood,In;  two grandchildren, Brayden Ford and Peightyn Shirley and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 30 at 1:00 PM at the Union # 2 Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Union # 2 Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 29 from 4:00 to8:00 PM at McMurtrey Funeral Home and after 11:00 AM Thursday at the Church.
In lieu of flowers,memorials may be made to the Union # 2 Cemetery.

Phillip Davis Goode

Phillip Davis Goode, age 39 of Tompkinsville, died Thursday, June 16 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was a self employed mechanic and a son of the late James Goode and Rena Davis Goode Gentry who survives and resides in Tompkinsville.
He is also survived by his wife, Stephanie Richhart Goode;  one son, James Phillip Goode;  one sister, Joanne (James ) Forrest of Tompkinsville;  three brothers, Roger Goode, Jimmy( Kathryn ) Goode and Casey (Betty) Goode all of Tompkinsville and one half brother, Kenneth Goode of  Texas.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Goode.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 19 at 2:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Skaggs Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Sunday, June 19 at 10:00 AM and continue until funeral time at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expense.
