GREG BRANHAM




   Gregory (Greg) Todd Branham, 55, Summer Shade, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at T J Samson Hospital. Born July 2, 1963, he was a son of the late Freeman Branham and Anna Lee Welsh.  He worked as a self employed handy man and was a Christian.

   Survivors include, three daughters,  April (Ryan) Matthews, Temple Hill, Candice (Ryan) Johnson, Edmonton, and Hallie (Zeke Monday) Branham, Glasgow; one sister, Becky Dubree, Summer Shade; four grandchildren, Preston Matthews, Kimber Matthews, Carson Harper and Rhett  Johnson; and one niece Terran (Jason) Caffee, Summer Shade.

   He was preceded in death, besides his parents, by one sister Tammy Branham.

   Funeral services will be Friday, May 31, 2019 at High Noon at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with Brother Willie Westmoreland officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2019, 4:00-8:00 P.M. and on Friday after 7:00 A.M. until time of services.

   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral fund.

Philip Anthony Monroe, age 81 died May 23, 2019. A memorial service will be held at a later date as cremation was chosen.

DIANNA JANE EMBRY




   Dianna Jane Reed Embry, 72, Glasgow, KY passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her residence. Born December 9, 1946 in Champagne, OH, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Betty Reed, and the widow of the late Harold Embry.

   She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

   Survivors include two daughters Shannon LaMae, Cookeville, Tn, and April (Andy) Holley; Glasgow; one step daughter, Carol Brown, Mammoth Cave, KY; three sons Jack Slover, Glasgow, Stacy lee Slover, Cave City, and Matthew Stout, Glasgow; one sister Beth Ann Brown, St Paris, OH; one brother David Reed, St Paris, OH; seven grandchildren, Jerry Pedigo Jr, Wyatt Pedigo, Corbin Pedigo, Melissa Taylor, Nita Morgan, Jackson Slover, and James Slover; 9 great grandchildren, Mara Fields, Jeremiah Morgan, Adam Morgan, Cheyanne Morgan, Danny Pedigo, Taylor Pedigo, Kristi Finn, Megan Finn, and Miranda Finn; and one great great granddaughter, Emily Proffitt.

   Funeral services will be Saturday, May 25, 2019, 2:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2019, 4:00-8:00 P.M. and on Saturday, May 25, 2019 after 8:00 A.M. until time of services at 2:00.

TERRY ALLEN WELLS




   Terry Allen Wells, 73, Summer Shade, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the University of Louisville Hospital.

   Born August 28, 1945 in Summer Shade, he was a son of the late Hershel and Agnes Barrett Wells and the husband of Sharon Reece Wells, who survives. They were married 53 years.

   He retired as bookkeeper and salesman for Hagan and Stone Wholesale. He was a Christian and attended New Life Ministry in Park City.

   Survivors other than his wife, include one daughter, Tonya (Johnny) Travis, Glasgow; one son Tony (Deanea) Wells, Knob Lick; one sister, Lois Ann (Robert) Hurt, Summer Shade; three grandchildren, Joshua Wells, John Kendrick Travis, and Abigail Travis; and several nieces and nephews.

   He was preceded in death besides his parents by two sisters, Marlene Humes and Doris Wells.

   Funeral services will be Friday, May 24, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with Brother Bobby Wood, officiating. Burial will follow in the Gee Harvey Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2019, 2:00- 8:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home and on Friday, May 24, 2019 after 7:00 A.M. until time of services at 1:00 P.M.

   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to T J Community Foundation Mission Foundation, Shanti Niketan Hospice Home or Gee Harvey Cemetery.
