Jennifer Reneau Cardwell

 

 

      Jennifer Reneau Cardwell, age 58, Glasgow, KY went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Born November 8, 1962 in Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Billy Reneau and Peggy Kingery Cain, who survives. She was the widow of the late Joe E Cardwell.

   She worked as a social worker and was a 48 year member of Union #2 Baptist Church  where she had taught Sunday school. She was president of Ramblers Square Dancing Club, a member of Eastern Star and served her community.

  Survivors include one daughter, Desire’ (Kevin) Davis, Bowling Green; mother, Peggy (special friend, James Chenault) Kingery Cain; two step sons, Mike Cardwell, Madison, IN, and Joe Cardwell Jr, Bowling Green; one sister, Mary Lee (Willie) England, Glasgow; one brother, Robin Reneau, Summer Shade; one grandchild, Devin Davis;  three step grandchildren, Tyler, Jared, and Haylee Cardwell;  one step great grandchild, Charlotte Cardwell and several nieces and nephews.

   She was preceded in death besides her husband and father, by her step father Tim Lee Cain, and grandparents Stanley and Edna Reneau and Reverend Delbert and Vinnie Garrett Kingery.

   Funeral services will be Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Union #2 Baptist Church, with Brother Ricky Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Union #2 Cemetery. A walk through visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2021, 2:00-8:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home and on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Union #2 church after 10:00 A.M. until time of services at 2:00.

   Social distancing is encouraged and mask are required.

   Memorials may be made to the Union #2 Cemetery.
