Bobby Junior Crews, 81, of Tompkinsville KY,
passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in
Glasgow, KY. He was born in Tompkinsville KY on August 15, 1944, to the late
Troy and Edith Speakman Crews. Mr. Crews enjoyed fishing, spending time with
friends and family, and UK basketball.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Crews of Tompkinsville, KY; children, Bobby Crews (Glenda), of Summer Shade, KY, Vicki Maggard (Tony Grant) of Columbia, KY, James Crews (Brandy) of Bowling Green, KY, Bobby Dale Crews of Russell Springs, KY, Cynthia McCarter of Adolphus, KY, Robbie Gentry of Summer Shade, KY; siblings, Parker Crews of Cave City, KY, Tommy Crews of Austin Tracey, KY, Mary Emberton of Tompkinsville, KY, Katherine Dubree of Tompkinsville, KY; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Franklin Tooley.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Steve Crews and his grandson, Jacob Allen Crews.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM Saturday, February 7, 2026, at McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial in the Brown Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2026, at the funeral home from 4:00M until 8:00PM and again on Saturday morning starting at 8:00AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Lung Association.
