William Toxie Moore

 


William Toxie Moore, 17, of Edmonton, KY, passed away, Friday, October 17, 2025, in Glasgow, KY, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born on September 17, 2008, to Billy and Betsy Parke Moore of Edmonton, KY, who survives.

Toxie was a member of Cedar Flat Community Church and a former student and football player for Metcalfe County High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Cassie Marie Moore of Marrowbone, KY, and Tristen Proffitt of Summer Shade, KY; maternal grandfather, Myron Freidhof of Iowa; special grandparents, Ricky and Janet Proffitt of Summer Shade, KY, Kathy Ferguson of Summer Shade, KY, and Al and Stacey Hazen of Edmonton, KY; aunts, Carol Huff of Glasgow, KY, and Conchita Moore of Edmonton, KY; uncle, Cyjoe Freidhof of Iowa; aunt, Robin Parke of Summer Shade, KY, and several other friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Sydney Proffitt; maternal grandparents, Janice Freidhof and Donnie Park; paternal grandparents, William and Florence Moore; uncle, Johny Parke; and special friend, Charley Fancher.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 1:00PM at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with burial in the Moore Family Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM, and will continue Wednesday from 8:00AM until time for the service at McMurtrey Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

Toxie was always a sweet respectful kid. He had a heart of gold. Toxie you'll be missed by so many people, I know you're in Heaven and that you're watching over your family and friends. Until we meet again little man, I'll do my best to help your parents and brother out. You're missed and loved beyond any stretch of imagination. Fly high sweet boy, fly high 💔🙏.

Condolescences to the family as well as friends. Such a tragedy…. He has joined the angel club and will soar with the wind beneath his wings
