Tammy Denise Humes,
age 56, of Summer Shade passed away at the Monroe County
Medical Center on February 14, 2023.
She was born in Glasgow
on May 03, 1966 to the late Marlene Wells Humes and Roy Lee Humes.
She is survived by
two sisters, Margaret Nance (Marty) of Edmonton
and Sue Bowman (Richard) of Tompkinsville; one brother, Kenny Humes (Connie) of
Summer Shade; several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her
parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Betty Bryant.
Funeral services will
be conducted Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of the
McMurtrey Funeral Home in Summer Shade. Burial will follow in the Gee Harvey
Cemetery. Visitation will
be held on Thursday, February 16 from 10 A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gee Harvey
Cemetery. Those can be
made here at the funeral home office.
