Carol Ann Westmoreland

 


Carol Ann Westmoreland, 64, of Edmonton, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Med Center Health in Bowling Green, KY. She was born on August 28, 1961, to the late Irvin and Odell (Webb) Bushong. Carol enjoyed playing bingo, watching her grandchildren, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include, her companion, Jackie Westmoreland; children, Jessica Westmoreland of Glasgow and Thaddeus Westmoreland (Ashley) of Edmonton; stepchildren, Charles Westmoreland (Amber) of Edmonton, Bradley Westmoreland of Edmonton, and Jaqueline Perkins of Edmonton; grandchildren, Wyatt Fultz, Wesson Fultz, Gunner Vibbert, Paxton Vibbert, Luke Meadows, Katie Meadows, Paisley Meadows, Logan Westmoreland (Brittany), Dylan Westmoreland, Zayne Westmoreland, Tydus Westmoreland, Braxton Westmoreland, Auna Lessenberry, Khloe Westmoreland, and Kaylee White; great grandchildren, Easton Westmoreland and Kensleigh Westmoreland; siblings, Lorene Savage (Haskel) of Edmonton, Lucy Rush (Jim) of Bowling Green, and Robin Cropper (Greg) of Tompkinsville; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Waylon White; sisters, Betty Tudder, Emma Jean Tade, Brenda Bushong, and Janet Bushong; and brother, Boyd Webb.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 6, 2025, at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin on Monday morning at 11:00 AM and will continue until time for the service at McMurtrey Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

Christine Sue Moore

 
 
 
  

Christine Sue Moore, 79, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 01, 2025, at Monroe County Medical Center. She was born on February 22, 1946, in Fostoria, Ohio, to the late James Clifford and Nancy Faye Coleman Thompson. Christine was one of eighteen children. She enjoyed quilting and cross stitching she also liked to fuss with family and friends in a New York minute.

 Survivors include one son Jonathan Mails (Angie) of Tompkinsville; Two grandchildren Casey Mails (Cyndi) and Jake Mails (Tessa) both of Tompkinsville; Four great grandchildren Makenna, Jaycee, Caston and Remington Mails.

 Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Scott Mails.

 Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday, October 04, 2025, at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with burial in Harlan Crossroads Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday morning at 10:00AM and will continue until time of the service at McMurtrey Funeral Home.

 

Jeanette Slinker

Jeanette Slinker, 79, of Glasgow, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 01, 2025, at the Cal-Turner Specialty Hospital in Scottsville, KY. She was born in Glasgow, KY, on November 11, 1945, to the late George and Lillian Hubbard. Jeanette retired from Eaton Axle Mfg. as an assembly operator.

 Survivors include one son Greg Slinker of Glasgow.

 In keeping with Jeanette’s wishes cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled at this time. McMurtrey Funeral Home is assisting the family.
