Charles Massey, Jr. age, 65, of the Nobob
community of Barren County, KY, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at
Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Charles was born January 2nd,
1961, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Charles Albert Massey, Sr. and
Patricia Kerbe.
Charles was a member of the FOP Lodge #4, Police Emerald Society of Baltimore and the Police Benevolent Association. He was a retired Baltimore County police officer and was previously employed by the Monroe and Metcalfe County Sheriff’s departments.
Survivors include two sons Charles Albert Massey III and Jack Massey; two daughters Kathryn Massey and Amelia Massey; one brother Michael Massey; nieces Victoria Castro and Amaya Massey; fiancé Michele Appler.
In keeping with Charles wishes cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
McMurtrey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
