Mary Louise Landrum

 


  Mary Louise Landrum, age 90, of Glasgow, KY, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. She was born on September 26, 1935, to the late John Will and Mollie Florence Green Clark.

 She was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed dealing in antiques and spending time with her family and friends.

 Survivors include four children, Mike Landrum (Wilma), John Landrum (Betty Jo), Harold Landrum (Lisa Poland) and Brenda Bridgeman all of Glasgow, KY; a daughter-in-law Kathy Landrum of Smiths Grove, KY; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three siblings, Charles Wayne Bunch, Shirley Isenhower, and Sandi Rutan (Chick) all of Lebanon, IN; several nieces and nephews also survive.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons David, Danny and Jeff Landrum, one brother John Stanley Clark, a daughter-in-law Sandy Watkins Landrum, and a son-in-law Jerry Bridgeman.

 Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, April 26, 2026, at McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial to follow in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin Sunday morning at 10:00am until time for the service at the funeral home.

Jason Hugh McMurtrey

 


Jason Hugh McMurtrey, 36, of Summer Shade, KY, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026, U of L Hospital. He was born on June 15, 1989, at TJ Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of Tom and Freda McPherson McMurtrey.

Jason was part owner of Summer Shade Collison and he spent 9 years as a volunteer Summer Shade fireman. He enjoyed trap shooting, riding horses, and agravating his friends and family.

On September 28, 2013, Jason married the love of his life, Katie Hodges McMurtrey, who has been by his side every minute of his struggle with cancer.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his parents, Tom and Freda McPherson McMurtrey, of Summer Shade; brother Brian (Beth) McMurtrey of Summer Shade; 7 nieces and nephews, Emma McMurtrey, Micah McMurtrey, Aubrey McMurtrey, Adalyn McMurtrey, Andrew Hugh McMurtrey, Averie Garmon, and Ivy Garmon; special aunt, Wilmetta McPherson; mother-in-law, Tammi (Kenyon) Wallace; father-in-law, Richard (Betsy) Hodges; sister-in-law, Kelsie (Tyler) Garmon  grandmothers-in-law, Linda Hodges and Shirley Killman; several aunts and uncles; and his dog Kimber.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Arlene McMurtrey and Hughie and Olene McPherson; grandfathers-in-law, Dalton Hodges and Paul Killman; and his dog, Ruger.

Funeral service will be 1:00PM Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial in the White Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00PM until 8:00PM and on Wednesday after 8:00AM at McMurtrey Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages that memorials are made to the Summer Shade Fire Department.

Betty Ann Preve

 

Betty Ann Preve, 92, of Edmonton KY, formally of New Hampshire, passed away, Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, KY. She was born in Framingham, MA, on April 30, 1933, to the late Fredrick and Dorothy Aldrich Ciceroni. Betty worked as a bookkeeper at Rinker Materials in Florida.

Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Lowe (Jim) of Edmonton; sons, Michael Jodoin of Edmonton, Richard Preve of New Hampshire; grandchildren, Rebekah Byrd, Jonathan Lawhon (Lindsey), Jeanine Preve, Christopher Preve, George Byrd and Dawson Byrd (Kristi); great grandchildren, Dallas, Peyton, Jacob, Ember; and one nephew, Robert Fredrick Ciceroni Jr.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Preve and her brother, Robert Fredrick Ciceroni Sr.

The family has chosen cremation and there will be a service held at a later date in New Hampshire.
