STEVIE DALE HARPER




   Stevie Dale Harper, age 53, of Summer Shade, died Sunday, August 28, 2016, at his residence.

   Born December 11, 1962 in Tompkinsville, he was a son of the late Darrell Harper and Joyce Vibbert Harper, who survives.

   He was a logger and truck driver, and of the Church of Christ faith.

   Survivors, in addition to his mother include three daughters, Michela (Josh) Page, Tompkinsville, Sierra Harper, Tompkinsville, and Brittany Harper, Summer Shade; two sons RD Harper, Tompkinsville and Joey Meers, Louisville and other special children Ryan Purcell, Dillon Maynard and Tasha Jewell; one sister Sheila (Ed) Smith, Summer Shade; four grandchildren, Preston and Penelope Page, Kade Swift, and Isabel Onate; two nieces, Suelena Smith and Cassie (Eric) Reece; and four great nephews Chandler, Jayden, Issac, and Kessler.

   He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Harper.

   Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at Hickory College Church of Christ, at 2:00 p.m., with Jason Page officiating. Burial will follow in the Skaggs Creek Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hickory College Church of Christ, in the Randolph community, highway 640 in Metcalfe County, and on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 after 8:00 a.m., at the church, until time of services.

   In lieu of flowers donations are encouraged to the funeral fund.

Joseph P. Doyen III

Joseph P. Doyen of Summer Shade died August 24, 2016 at his home. A memorial service will be held later as cremation was chosen.

ETHEL MAE BARBOUR CAWTHORN




   Ethel Mae Barbour Cawthorn, age 83, of No Bob, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at T J Samson Hospital.

   Born July 8, 1933 in Eighty Eight, she was a daughter of the late Fondal Felix Barbour and Mallie Mathews Barbour.

   She was a mother, housewife and factory worker. She was a member of the Mt Poland Missionary Baptist Church.

   Survivors include two sons, Darrell Wayne (Wanda Jean) Cawthorn, Gamaliel and Timothy “Sunshine” Farrell Cawthorn, No Bob; one brother Emmett Erroll Barbour, No Bob; five grandchildren, Anitra Dannielle Stamps, Katie Mae Cawthorn, Amanda Jean Cawthorn, Malina Ann Cleary, and Cody Damon Cawthorn; and six great grandchildren.

   She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by two grandchildren Clinton Lee Cawthorn and John Daniel Cawthorn; two sisters Milly Lee Barbour and Mary Emoline Wolfe; and the father of her children C P Cawthorn.

   Funeral services will be Friday, August 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with Brother Billy Michael Stinson and Brother Paul (Cricket) Strong officiating.

Burial will follow in the White Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will begin Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 2:00-9:00 p.m. and on Friday after 7:00 a.m. until time of services.

PAMELLA ANN HARRISON HAPER




   Pamela Ann Harrison Harper, age 49, of Edmonton, died Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

   Born May 8, 1967 in Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Joyce ( Huff) and Kenneth  Harrison, and the wife of Brandon Harper, who survives.

   She was a house wife and of the Presbyterian faith.

   Survivors in addition to her husband, include four daughters, Nicole (Robert) Jewell, Edmonton, Wendy McCoy, Glasgow, Holly McCoy, Glasgow and Shelby Mc Coy, Glasgow;  niece, Ashley Duvall, Glasgow; nephew, Thomas Ferrell, Glasgow; five grandchildren; and one sister Anita Conner, Glasgow.

   She was preceded in death besides her parents by one grandchild, Katie Kereney, and one sister Vicki Harrison.

   Funeral services will be Monday, August 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Lick Branch Church in Kino, burial will follow in the Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, August 22, 2016  from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.

   McMurtrey Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Wanda Lou Nunnally Ball


Wanda Lou Nunnally Ball, age 72 of Summer Shade died August 2, 2016 at the T J Samson hospital.

 Born July 3, 1944 in Glasgow, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Houston and Mary Nell Stephens Nunnally.

 She retired from the Farm Service Agency as a program assistant and was a member of the Hickory College Church of Christ.

 Wanda is survived by her husband Charles Ball, one daughter, Alisa Grimes (Steven) of Bowling Green, a son, Kenny Ball of Randolph  and  two grandchildren Zack and Jordan Grimes one sister Mary Lee (Donald) Sandidge of Summer Shade.

 Funeral services will be Friday, August 5, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with burial in the Summer Shade Cemetery.  Visitation will start August 4, 2016 from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Friday from 7:00 A.M. till time for services.
