JAMES EARL"JIM " FORD

James Earl" Jim" Ford, age 77 of Hendersonville, Tn., died Friday, November 3, 2013 at the Hendersonville Medical Center.
He was a son of the late Earl and Piccola Perkins Ford and was of the Baptist faith.  He was an avid magician.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Moss Etta Everett Ford;  one daughter, Felicia (Bobby)
Steele of Portland, Tn.; two grandchildren, Chris and Amanda Steele;  one sister, Carol Anne ( Arne) Servatius of South Haven,Mich;  one brother, Ron Ford of Bowling Green.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Ford.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 12:00 P M at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hiseville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 5 from 3:00 to 8:00 P M at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Andrew Jackson Police Youth Camp  at 440 Welch- wood Dr.,Nashville,Tn. 37211 of send to McMurtrey Funeral Home at 2232 Summer Shade Rd.,

Geary Shelton Wood

Geary Shelton Wood, age 72 of Glasgow, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 at St.Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He was a son of the late James Lovell Wood and Velma Wood Shirley, who survives and resides in Greenbriar,Tn. He was a member of the Freedom # 2 Baptist Church in Monroe Co.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Gearie Ellen Wood and one son, Joey Shelton Wood,both of Arizona;one grandchild, Logan Wood; two sisters, Mary Evelyn (Dale) Brown of Greenbrier, Tn and Evonna Rose Wood of Greenbriar;  three brothers, Roger Wood of Greenbriar, Jackie Ferrell Wood of Springfield,Tn. and Billy (April) Wood of Springfield;  a special friend, Mary Lou Sells.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Nov. 24, at 1:00 P M at Freedom # 2 Baptist Church with Bro Frankie Kirby officiating. Burial will follow in the Freedom # 2 Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov.23 from 4:00 to 8:00 P M at the McMurtrey Funeral Home in Summer Shade.  Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expense.

BOBBY JUNIOR HUFF

Bobby Junior Huff, age 76 of Summer Shade, died Sunday, November 17 at Monroe Co. Health & Rehab. He was a son of the late Taylor and Girdle Brown Huff and member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by two daughters, Anita (Billy) Rhoton of Tompkinsville and Kathy Milam of Summer Shade; two sons,  Randell (Tammy) Huff of Glasgow and Stevie (Vickie) England of Tompkinsville;  grandchildren Lori Beth Ferguson,  Chris Blakley, Barry Rhoton, Betina Copas and Steven Moody;  great grandchildren,  Jackson and Blane Ferguson and Katherine Kiebel;; three sisters, Sheila Garmon of Burkesville, Rachel Ballard of Edmonton and Betty Newlander of In;  one brother, Stevie Huff of Glasgow.
In addition to his parents,  he was preceded in death by his wife, Devonia Huff,  one brother, Marvin Huff,  one sister, Linda Huff and one grandson,  Bradley Blakley.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov.20 at 1:00 P M at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Bean officiating.  Burial will follow in the Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 1:00 P M at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery.

HOMER HADE WHITE

Homer Hade White, age 86 of Edmonton, died Tuesday, October 31 at his home.  He was a son of the late William Sherman and Ella Jennings White.  He was a farmer and carpenter and was a member of the House of Prayer Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Paula Jean (P.J. ) Martin and husband, Tudor of Edmonton;  two sons,  William Hade White and wife, Faye of Summer Shade and James Carson White also of Summer Shade;  two sisters Ruby Nichols of Elizabethtown and Edith Acton of Columbus, In;  grandchildren, Terry White and John Martin;  great grandchildren, Shelby White, Kassidy and Tyler White, Kendra Conrad and Mason and Graci Martin.
In addition to his parents , he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline White,  grandson, Chad White,  brothers, Porter and Terry White and sisters,  Alma Bragg, Noruth Spraggs and Dori
Baldwin..
Funeral services will be Sunday, Nov.3 at 1:00 P M at the House of Prayer Church with Rev. Phil Lowry officeiating.  Burial will follow in the Church cemetery
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1:00 P M at the McMurtrey Funeral Home and after 10:00 A M Sunday at the church until funeral time.

RUSSELL D NORRIS

Russell D Norris, age 59 of Tompkinsville, died October31, 2013 at the Monroe Co. Medical Center.  He was a son of the late William Stanley and Ada Odell Ballard Norris.
He is survived by his wife, Vermal Norris of Tompkinsville;  one daughter,  Tina Norris of Tompkinsville;  four sisters, Mildred Huckelby of Tompkinsville, Linda (Carlie) Arterburn of Flippin; Betty (Donald) Muse of Tompkinsville and Phyllis Norris Tompkinsville;  three brothers, Larry(Janet) Norris of Orlinda, Tn., Travis Norris of Tompkinsville and Phillip Norris of Summer Shade;  three grandchildren, Makayla Norris,  Brittany Coulter and Cory Coulter;  one great grandchild, Kynslie Meador.
Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 4, at 1:00 P M at McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Franklin Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2:00 P M at the funeral home
