ERA VIBBERT

Era Vibbert, age 86 of Summer Shade, died Sunday, Mar. 27, 2001 at the Monroe Co. Medical Center.  She was a homemaker and a daughter of the late Jepp and Flossie Oliver Elmore.  She was a member of the Cedar Flat Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by six daughters, Shirley (Bobby ) Glover, Dean Harper, Marie(Mack) Warren, Kathy (Willie Rich )and Marcella (Morris ) Dodson all of Summer Shade and Barbara (Jim ) Crump of Glasgow.  eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Vibbert, two brothers, Roy and Arnold Elmore, one grandchild, Jill Harper and a son in law, Raymond Harper.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Mar. 31 at 1:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro Roger Poynter officiating.  Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 to 9:00 PM and continue Wednesday until 9:00 PM and Thursday until time of service.
Memorials may be made to St,Jude Children's Research Hospital.

THALIA MARIE ROBISON

Thalia Marie Robison, age 81 of Edmonton, (formerly of Bowling Green) died Friday, Mar. 25 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Lou Santmier Fenstemacher and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bowling Green.
She is survived by her husband, Carl T. Robison;  one daughter, Thalia Pace and husband, Billy Joe of Summer Shade;  two sons, William David Oldham and wife, Debbie of Marlow, Ok. and Robert Lee Oldham and wife, June of Henderson, Ky;  five grandchildren, Emily Oldham, Heather Marie Shaw and husband, Andy, Eric Dustin Pace and wife, Jenna, Landon David Oldham and wife, Vicki and Summer Trinity Sturgeon and husband, Jordan;  four great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Mar. 29 at 1:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro Steve Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, Mar. 28 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
Memorials may be made to the Americn Cancer Society or the Barren River Animal Welfare Association.

LEMUEL JESSIE RUSSELL

Lemuel Jessie Russell, age 76 of Edmonton, KY formerly of the Nobob Community, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the TJ Samson Community Hospital.  He was a son of the late Joe Abb and Maude Pierce Russell.
He is survived by four sons, Lemuel Russell, Jr., Jerry Russell and Joe Russell all of Linton, IN,  Jessie Russell of Edmonton, KY; one daughter, Elizabeth Jane Russell of Jasonville, IN; three sisters, Nell Shockley of Nobob, Lavada Gosser of Florida and Louise Lemas of Scottsville, KY; three brothers, Avalon Russell of Glasgow, KY Gobel Russell of Sumemr Shade, KY and Larry Russell of Glasgow, KY.  Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Louis Russell.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 25, 2011 @ 1:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Union #2 Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 4:00 pm at the funeral home.

MACY ALENE SHOOPMAN

Macy Alene Shoopman, age 84 of Willow Shade, died Sunday, Mar. 06 at the Metcalfe Co Health Care Center.  She was a homemaker and a daughter of the late Radford and Sallie Fansler Ballard.  She was a member of the Willow Shade Church of Christ.
She is survived by three sons, Clarence Gibbons of Summer Shade, Douglas and Rondal Shoopman both of Willow Shade;  one daughter, Judy Shaw and husband, Larry of Willow Shade, a daughter-in-law, Barbara Shoopman of Willow Shade;  three sisters, Ruby Hendershot of Chicago, Jane Durrett of Glasgow and Helen Miller of Alexandria, Ky;  two brothers, Kenneth and Kyle Ballard both of Tompkinsville;  nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and nine great,great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Shoopman and three sons, Rob ert Dale, Michael and Gary Shoopman.
Funeral serv ices will be Tuesdaay, Mar. 08 at 2:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Richardson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Monday, Mar. 07 at 5:00 PM. at the funeral home.
