Cynthia Lou Smith Hicks, 68, of Edmonton, KY passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Metcalfe Health Care Center. She was born in Cherry Tree, PA on October 1, 1957, to the late Calvin and Delores Stiffler Smith.
Cynthia enjoyed collecting antiques and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons Gerald “Jerry” Stines (Maria) of Tompkinsville, KY and Johnie Ralph Stines, Jr. (Jimmie Dawn) of Burkesville, KY; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; four siblings Timothy Smith (Angie) of Tampa, FL, Mark Smith (Deborah) of Cortland, OH, Kirk Smith (Rita) of Leavittsburg, OH and Tammy Long (Rich) of Leavittsburg, OH and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons George Robert and Charles Jennings Stines and two siblings Karen Deel and Roger Smith.
In honoring Cynthia’s wishes cremation was
chosen and there will be a private celebration of life service at 5:00pm
eastern time on Thursday, May 14, 2026, in Leavittsburg, OH.
