Junior Kervin White, 59 of Edmonton passed away peacefully Friday, January 5, 2024, in Bowling Green at the Hospice House of Southern KY. He was born September 20, 1964, to the late Ferry White and Bessie Short Lewis who survives.
Junior worked for the Edmonton Police Department and retired after 30 years of service to his community. He loved helping people, going fishing, and playing his guitar and banjo.
He is survived by his mother Bessie (Brent) Lewis of Bowling Green, son William White of Burkesville, two sisters Mildred (Larry) Smith of Columbia, Penny (Allen) Firkins of Edmonton, and one brother Mark White of Glasgow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday,
January 10, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial in the Summer
Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 4:00-8:00
PM here at the funeral home and after 8:00 AM on Wednesday until time of the
service.
