Michael Wayne Blackburn, age 54 of Summer Shade died
December 10, 2015 at his residence.
Born August 14, 1961 in Chicago ,
IL.to the late Robert and Geneva Simpkins Blackburn .
He was a nurse and of the Baptist faith as well as a veteran
of the Army.
Survivors are two
sisters Rhonda (Chris) Allen of Central City and Margaret Banks of Georgia;
three brothers Terry Blackburn of Central City, Donnie and Randy Blackburn of
Chicago, one very special friend David Young and 35 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by one
brother Bobby Banjo Blackburn.
Funeral services will be Saturday December 12, 2015 at 3:00
P.M. at the McMurtrey Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 A.M.
until Funeral time of 3:00. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade
