Gary David Birge

Gary David Birge, age 70 of Summer Shade, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Glasgow Health & Rehab.  He was a son of the late Ned and Mabel Gramlin Birge and was a former employee of Dana Corp.  He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Mable Groce Birge;  two daughters, Lesa (Ricky) White and Karen (Terry )Eaton both of Glasgow;  two brothers, Ralph Lee (Pat )Birge of Mt. Hermon and Rondal (Wanda ) Birge of Louisville;  four grandchildren, Brandon (Tiffany) White, Whitney  (Brandon) Norris and Kathy and Tyler Warren;  two great grandchildren, J.P., Hayden and Keleigh.
In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Billy Dean Birge.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 26 at 1:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro Danny Wyatt officiating.  Burial will follow in the White Cemetery in Monroe Co.
Visitation will begin Thursday, August 25 at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Norris, Brandon White, Richard Birge, Scott Birge, Adam Scott and Tony Birge.  mcmurtreyfuneralhome.com
