Mattie Marie Pedigo, age 79 of Summer Shade, died Saturday, March 03, 2012 at the Metcalfe Health Care Center.. She was a daughter of Sylvester and Hallie Harper Huff and was a member of the Summer Shade Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, of sixty one years, Eugene Pedigo, one daughter, Anita Whitlow and husband, Ronnie of Glasgow; one son, Donald Pedigo and wife, Sue of Summer Shade; one brother,
Paul Jr. Huff and wife, Joyce of Edmonton; three grandchildren, Ronda Syndor and husband, Todd, Ryan Whitlow and wife, Dianna and Terran Pedigo and two step grandsons, Daniel and Michael Holly; four great grandchildren, Stephen Sydnor and wife, Mariah, Matthew Whitlow and Ryanna Whitlow.
In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by a daughter,Lisa Capps, great grandson, Montanna Sydnor, sisters, Fern Bunch, Joyce Harrison and Gail Capps and brothers, Joe Huff, Cecil and Wendell Huff.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Mar. 7 at 2:00 PM at the Summer Shade Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Mar. 6 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the Summer Shade Baptist and continue Wednesday until time for the service.
McMurtrey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
