William Gene Dozard, age 87 of Summer Shade passed away February 18, 2024, at the T.J. Samson Hospital. He was born February 17, 1937, to the late Edward James and Florence May Florea Dozard. He was a retired Appliance repair technician and was a member of the Barren County Cattleman's Association and the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years Betty Dozard, four children, 10 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

No services are scheduled at this time as cremation was chosen.
