Velma Rachele (Lollar) Cross, age 66 of Scottsville died November 4, 2014 at the Medical Center in Scottsville.

She was born June 19, 1948 in Summer Shade to the late James Sammie and Mable Odell (Humes) Lollar.

She was a nurse and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by four sisters Exie Vance and Barbie Lollar of Summer Shade, Linda Arnett of Tompkinsville and Donna (Tom) White of Celina. Four brothers William Lollar, Mitchell (Wanda) Lollar of Summer Shade, Ricky (Joyce) Lollar of Glasgow and Chris (Cindy) Lollar of Edmonton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceeded in death by three brothers in laws, Jack Harris, Vechel Vance and Jerry Arnett.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 9:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the McMurtrey Funeral Home as cremation was chosen. Burial will follow in the Gee Harvey Cemetery .
