Tony G. Anderson, age 56 of Burkesville passed away June 29, 2022 at Tri Star Centennial Hospital in Nashville . He was born December 29, 1965 in Glasgow to the late Kenneth and Dorothy Shaw Anderson.

He was a truck driver for several different companies.

Survivors include his wife Melissa (Missy) Anderson, one son Kenneth Anderson (Amy Weiss) of Glasgow, step sons Carter Burton of Marrowbone and Trevor Burton of Edmonton ; Step daughter Brittany (Billy) Jessie of Columbia; grandchild Hadley Jo Anderson, step grandchildren Parker, Axel and Riley Jessie. He is also survived by one sister Charlotte (Tim) Sparks of Edmonton; two brothers Calvin (Debbie) Anderson and Tommy Anderson of Edmonton and one sister in law Janet Anderson of Dubre.

In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by brothers Wesley and Jimmy Anderson and Gary Jefferson.

Funeral services will be Sunday July 3, 2022 at 2:00 at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Brother Roger McKinney officiating. Burial to follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery . Visitation will be Saturday July 2, 2022 from 4:00 till 8:00 pm at the McMurtrey Funeral Home and again Sunday July 3, 2022 from 8:00 am till funeral time of 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations are encouraged to help with funeral expenses and can be left at the McMurtrey Funeral Home.
