Russell D Norris, age 59 of Tompkinsville, died October31, 2013 at the Monroe Co. Medical Center.  He was a son of the late William Stanley and Ada Odell Ballard Norris. He is survived by his wife, Vermal Norris of Tompkinsville;  one daughter,  Tina Norris of Tompkinsville;  four sisters, Mildred Huckelby of Tompkinsville, Linda (Carlie) Arterburn of Flippin; Betty (Donald) Muse of Tompkinsville and Phyllis Norris Tompkinsville;  three brothers, Larry(Janet) Norris of Orlinda, Tn., Travis Norris of Tompkinsville and Phillip Norris of Summer Shade;  three grandchildren, Makayla Norris,  Brittany Coulter and Cory Coulter;  one great grandchild, Kynslie Meador. Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 4, at 1:00 P M at McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Visitation will begin Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2:00 P M at the funeral home Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expense.
