Roy Dale Muse, age 66, of Smiths Grove passed away on March 07, 2023, at the Tri- Star Skyline Medical Center in Nashville . He was born on June 25, 1956, in Tompkinsville, a son of the late Evie Pruitt Muse and Luther Muse. Roy was of the Church of Christ faith.

He is survived by one sister, Carolyn Sue Ford of Glasgow; two brothers, Barry Muse (Janet) of Sparta, TN and Donald Muse (Betty) of Tompkinsville; two special nieces, Sherry Compton (Gary) of Smiths Grove and Regina Walker of Summer Shade; one special nephew, Gary Sexton (Heather) of Summer Shade; and several other nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Wayne, Charles, Darrell, and Earl Muse; and sisters, Mildred Rouse and Zella Sickman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on March 13 at the McMurtrey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Basil Cemetery . Visitation will begin on Sunday, March 12 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and will continue on Monday, March 13 from 8:00 AM until service time at1:00 PM at the funeral home.
