Survivors include his loving wife of thirty five years Patsy Anderson Scott; four children Anderia Decker, Rhonda Anderson (Jared), Chad Burks (Megan), Samatha Gilbert (Buddy); two step children Leslie Smith (Mike) and Libby Burris (David Shaw); fifteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother Bobby Scott (JoAnn); One sister Sherry Lee; three brothers-in-law Freddie Anderson (Lisa), Lonnie Anderson and Ronnie Anderson (Terri); several nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, Chatter is preceded in death by his son Stephen Rondel Scott and one great grandson Tristen Coomer.

In accordance with Chatter's wishes, cremation has been honored and no services are scheduled at this time. McMurtrey Funeral Home in Summer Shade is assisting the family.
