Reid Welsh, age 75,

Edmonton
,
died Monday, July 21, 2014, at T J Samson Hospital.
Born September 12,
1938 in
Cumberland
County
to the late Lee
and Dollie Riddle Welsh.
He worked as a
welder in the Agricultural industry.
He is survived by
one son, Michael Welsh (Angela),
Edmonton
; one
daughter, Janie Holmes (Tom), Glasgow; three grandchildren, Macy and Ben Welsh
and Jack Holmes; three brothers,
Vernon
, Legene, and Lonnie
Welsh, all of Summer Shade; one sister, Nelda Siddens, Glasgow.
He was also
preceded in death by one brother, Myron Welsh, and one sister, Neva Estes.
Funeral services
will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the McMurtrey Funeral
Home, with Brother Gary Richardson
officiating, burial will follow in the
Summer
Shade
Cemetery
. Visitation will
begin Wednesday July 23, 2014 at 3:00 PM and continue at the funeral home until
time of services on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers
memorials may be made to the Summer Shade Fire Department.
