Polly Kay Ballard Shaw, age 71, of the Beaumont community passed away August 13, 2021 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset , KY.

Polly was born in Glasgow , KY. to the late Rance Ballard Sr. and Delsie Ford Ballard.

She was a machine operator in several local clothing manufacturing factories and was a member of the Marrowbone Baptist Church .

She is survived by her husband of thirty seven years Ray Shaw of Beaumont, one son Todd (Nicole) Thurman of Edmonton and one granddaughter Megan Thurman.

Other than her parents she was preceeded in death by one brother Rance Ballard Jr. and two sisters Patty Ann Ballard and Peggy Ballard.

Funeral services will be Tuesday August 17, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Brother Darrell Bartley officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaumont Cemetery .

Visitation will be Monday August 16, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. till 8:00 and on August 17 from 8:00 A.M. till time for the funeral at the McMurtrey Funeral Home

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Beaumont Cemetery and can be left at the funeral home.
