Phyllis Madge Hubbard Jones, age 74, of Summer Shade, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at her residence. Born in Lebanon , KY , November 9, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Audrey Williams Hubbard. She was married 55 years to Walter W. Jones, who survives.

She was a homemaker, a teacher and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church . She was a devoted wife, and a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors other than her husband, include one daughter, Tina (Titus) Awokuse, Michigan; one son David Keith (Theresa) Jones, Louisville; one sister, Paula (Larry) Blakeman, Campbellsville; and seven grandchildren, Daniel, Joshua, and Sarah Awokuse and Zachary, Bradley, Valerie, and Cameron Jones.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Samuel W. Jones.

A walk through visitation will be Wednesday, April 28, 2021, 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 noon, central time. A private family funeral will be held, with burial to follow in the Gee Harvey Cemetery .

Memorials may be made to the Gee Harvey Cemetery .
