NELTON NORRIS GARMON Nelton Norris Garmon, age 86 of Glasgow, died Friday, April 22 at the Glenview Health Care Facility. The retired farmer was a son of the late Herbert and Mamie Norris Garmon. He was a member of the Refuge Church of Christ, an avid mule enthusiast and a member of the Barren Co Saddle Club. He was a WW II Veteran. He is survived by two sons, Larry (Julie) Garmon and Timothy ( Sherri Jo) Garmon both of Glasgow; three grandchildren, Chad Garmon, LaShea Garmon and Kyle Garmon; two great grandchildren, Makenzie Fauber and Makaylee Fauber; four sisters,Loretta Huckelby of Dubre, Covella Hare of Cave City, Louise Gibson and Linda Traylor both of Edmonton; two brothers, Phillip Garmon of Burkesville and Rondal Garmon of Dubre. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evalee Garmon, one Brother, Harold Garmon and one brother-in-law, Ewing Huckelby. Funeral services will be Monday, April 25, at 1:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin Sunday, Apr. 24 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
