Born June 26, 1938 in Edmonton , she was a daughter of the late George E. and Margaret Hazel (Pedigo) Carter.  She was married to Reverend Willis Junior Lawson, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Tamara Lawson- Stamper and husband Dan of Edmonton; grandson, Nathaneal Willis C. Fears and wife Angela of Edmonton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Janette DeWeese .

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 31 , 2022, 1:00 PM at McMurtrey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery . Visitation will be Thursday, March 31 , 2022, from 9:00 A.M until time of services at 1: 00 P.M.
