Neddie Thera Hurt Reece, age 98, of Evansville , IN passed away on Saturday, April 08, 2023 at her residence. She was born on June 20, 1924 in Cofer , KY , a daughter of the late Cary Estelle Hamilton Hurt and George Harlan Hurt. Neddie was married to the late Millard Reece, and they shared sixty-one wonderful years together.

She is survived by three daughters, Cary Baize and Nancy Wise both of Evansville , IN and Brenda Strohbehn of Iowa ; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; sixteen great- great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Michael Reece; twin sister, Eddie Lera England ; and brother, Philip Hurt.
