Melvin Cecil Lemons, age 86, of Glasgow passed away August 21. 2022.

Born July 5, 1936, he was a son of the late Herbert and Lou Vada "Smith" Lemons he worked for years as a crane operator in the boat building industry.

Survivors include his wife Violet Lemons of Glasgow, three daughters, Anna Lemons of Cave City, Debbie Evans and husband Phil Abel of Jeffersonville, IN and Nancy Lemons of Glasgow; one son, Melvin C. Lemons Jr. of Henryville, IN;Grandchildren, ShyAnne Irwin, Misty Thomas, Ricky Lee Evans, and Christina Runyon; and numerous great-grandchildren also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by siblings, Leroy, Shelley, Mitchell, Laverne, and Harry John and two grand sons, Gary Melton and Donnie Dattilo.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Beaumont Cemetery .
