Loyd Edwin Moore, age 79, of Louisville , died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville , Ky.

He was born in Tompkinsville , Kentucky on March 27, 1937. He was a son of the late Ernest Moore and Cloteel (Bybee) Moore , and the husband of Evie (Birge) Moore , who survives.

Other than his wife, he is survived by one son Tim (Dottie) Moore and one daughter, Tammy (Steve Ritchie) Centers both of Louisville; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three brothers, Dale (Brenda) and Larry (Sandy) Moore, both of Tompkinsville, and Donald (Mary) Moore, Louisville; and two sisters Sue Copass and Patricia (Kenny) Jarvis, both of Louisville; and many in-laws, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Cremation was chosen, and a Celebration of Life will follow at a later time.
