Kyle Edward  Ballard, age 76, of Tompkinsville, formerly of Summer Shade, died Dec. 24, 2012, at his home.  He was a farmer and a son of the late Radford and Sally Fansler Ballard. He is survived by four daughters, Christina Ballard of Edmonton, Sinda Anderson  and Karen Bartley both of Summer Shade and Becky (Davis ) Hurt of Glasgow;  three sons, Jason ( Jesssica) Ballard of Gamaliel, Ricky ( Debbie ) Ballard of Summer Shade and Duane ( Kim ) Ballard of Dayton, O;  two sisters, Ruby Hendershott of Chicago, Il. and Helen Miller of Alexndria,Ky;  one brother, Kenneth Ballard of Tompkinsville;  sixteen grandchildren  and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Timmy Ballard and several sisters and brothers. Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 28 at 1:00  P M at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Parks officiating.  Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday, Dec. 27 at 1:00 P M at the funeral home.
