Joseph Terry Lane, age 55 of the Node Community, died Wednesday, July 24 at  home. He was a son of the late Preston and Elsie Jeffries Lane and was a self employed Masonry worker.  He was a member of the Seven Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He is survived by one sister, Janice (Clay ) Turner of Summer Shade and one brother, Jimmy (Teresa) Lane of Hiseville;  nephew, Joey Lane and nieces, Amanda Brown and Jamie Clark.  Several great nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Karen Lane. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 27 at 2:00 P.M. at the Seven Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bro. Mark Copas and Bro Randell Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Lane Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday, at 4:00 P M at the McMurtrey Funeral Home and continue at 9:00 A M Saturday at the church until funeral time at 2:00 P.M.
