John Dale Young, age 41 of Edmonton, died Sunday, December 5 at his home.  He was a carpenter and a son of the late Albert and Sarah Young. He is survived by his wife, Beth Shaw Young;  one daughter,Emily Young;  three sisters, Rhonda (Maxie) Caffee of Hiseville, Nancy (Danny Joe) Edwards of Greensburg, and Ruth (Tracy) Romines of Edmonton;  mother and father-in-law, Debra and Dwight Daugherty;  grandmother-in-law, Emma Hughes, sister-in-law Pam (Gary ) Hunt;  five nieces, one nephew and one great nephew. In addition to is parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Mr.Young chose cremation.  A memorial service will be held Thursday, Dec. 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Grace Union Baptist Church. McMurtrey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
