John Robert (Bob) Rose, age 79 of Glasgow, died Sunday August 3, 2013 at Memorial Hospital in Manchester, Ky. He was a son of the late George and Ethel Hardin Rose and was a retired automobile mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Branham Rose; four daughters Carolyn (Jerry) Fields of Manchester, KY. Sharon (Todd) Oliver of Glasgow, Hannah (Timmy) Lloyd of Summer Shade and Pat Beauchamp of Glasgow; one son Dewayne Rose of Glasgow; three sisters Priscilla Rice of Washington, Irma Rose of Oregon and Lois Rose of Glasgow. Eleven Grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Brother Mark Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Mud Camp Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 6 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
