Joe Edward Dubree, age 76, of Clarkson , Ky. , died Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Hospice House in Bowling Green .

Born May 19, 1938 in Kino, he spent his early years in Monroe County , Kentucky . He was a son of the late Arthur and Lola Wallace Dubree and the husband of the late Rebecca Hammer Dubree.

He was a retired electrician, and a member of the Clarkson Church of Christ.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Joe (Karen) Dubree, Shepherdsville, and Darrell (Lori) Dubree, Bowling Green; two sisters Joyce (Charles) Hammer, and Gladis (Bobby) Riddle both of Greenwood, Ind.; one half brother Bedford Dubree, Ohio; four grandchildren Haley (Andrew) Gott, Nickolas Dubree, Kristi (David) Minor and Paul (Jenny) Dubree; three step grandchildren, Christine Wethington, Paul Myrick and Nancy Prather; and sixteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 12 at 1:00 PM Central time, at McMurtrey Funeral Home with Brother Jack Ray, officiating, burial will follow in Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 11,  from 2:00 - 6:00  PM Central time, and on Monday January 12 from 7 AM until time of services  at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Big Reedy Christian Camp or Foundation Christian Academy in Bowling Green .
