, he was a son of the late Raymond
Coy and Vergie Richey Jones.
He was a mechanic,
a Christian, and a veteran of the Army.
Survivors include
Terry (Edna) Jones, Glasgow, and George (Joann) Jones, Tompkinsville; six
brothers, Demas, Clifton, Ralph, Cecil, Danny, and Royce Jones; three
grandchildren, Tiffany and Mallory Jones, and Michael Shane Smith; and two great
grandchildren Camden Vest and Kaylee Smith.
He was preceded in
death besides his parents, by one brother, Veachel Jones and one sister, Avis
Hood.
Funeral services
will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with
burial to follow in the
Bethlehem
Cemetery
. Military rites
will be performed by the DAV of Glasgow. Visitation will be Monday, October 19,
2015 from 2:00-8:00 and after 7:00 AM on Tuesday, until time of services.
In lieu of flowers
donations may be made to the funeral fund.
