Georgia Thelma Moody, age 82 of Tompkinsville , Ky. died January 21, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green .

Born February 4, 1931 in Waterview , Ky. She Was the daughter of the late Fred Douglas and Mattie Barksdale Moody.

She was a housekeeper and was a member of the Church of Christ .

Survivors include two daughters, Alma Moody of Tompkinsville and Kathelene (Miss Kitty) Moody of Louisville. Three sons, Tommy and Wendell Moody of Tompkinsville and Freddie (Pansy) Moody of Danville . One sister Iva Lee Coe of Indianapolis , In.. Two grand children Tiara Bush and Lori Moody. Four great grand  children Garren, DyiRon, Haven and Canaan Moody.

In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by one sister Nettie Kate Bailey, three brothers Willie T,, Truman (TL) and Marvin Moody.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 24 at 1:00 at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bushong Cemetery . Visitation will begin Friday January 23 from 4:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home and after 7:00 A.M. on the 24 ^th until funeral time.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kidney Foundation, Heart Association or the Diabetes Association and can be left at the funeral home.
