Ervin Junior Blythe, age 53, of Beaumont , passed away at his home Sunday, August 31, 2014.

He was born in Metcalfe County , June 8, 1961, a son of the late Junior Radford and Ruby Page Blythe.  He was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Diane Gross Blythe; two daughters Melissa (Matthew) Shaw, Glasgow and Kayla (Marty) Bryant, Hardyville; four brothers, Roy (Deborah) Blythe, Edmonton, Kelly Blythe, Beaumont, Kenneth Blythe, Beaumont, and James (Karen) Blythe, Beaumont;  two sisters, Betty (Neddie) Whitlow, Beaumont, and Bonnie (Larry) Willis, Marrowbone; one grandchild, Kenna Briar Shaw; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at 1:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. William Pennington officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lone Star Cemetery . Visitation will begin Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the funeral home and continue Wednesday, until time of services.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with funeral expenses.
