Elizabeth Earline Pitcock, age 91 of Summer Shade, died Tuesday, Sepltember 13, 2011 at T J Samson Community Hospital.  She was a daughter of the late Richard Bridges and Viola Vance Houchens. She was a member of the Summer Shade Missiponary Baptist Church where she taught Sundaay School for many years.  She was retired from Ky. Pants and was the best fried pie maker in Summer Shade. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Jean (Mark) Millerof Eighty Eight,  a daughter-in-law, Della Pitcockof Summer Shade;  grandchildren, Karen Sue (Louie) Hicks, In., Jeff (Lucinda) Pitcock of Summer Shade, Bettina (Mike) Wilson of Temple Hill, Vince (Mandy) Miller of Elizabethtown;  great grandchildren,Josh Pitcock, Haley Pitcock, Brittany (David) Wade, Brandon Pickett, Jessica(Chet) Ellis, Nicholas and Christian Martin, Savanna Napper and Dakota Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Elzie Pitcock, son, J.D. Pitcock, grandson, Tony Miller and two brothers, Robert and Benny Ray Houchens. Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 15 at 2:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral home with Bro Paul Roy officiating.  Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
