Donald John Obergfel, age 75, of Edmonton , passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital . Born May 23, 1946 in Claytonville, Illinois, he was a son of the late John and Nettie Hofer Obergfel.

Survivors include, his wife, Carol Ann "Howe" Obergfel; one daughter, Jennifer Jo Obergfel;one son Jonathan (D.J) Obergfel all of Edmonton ; one sister, Dorothy Jean Rosenboom of Buckley , Illinois .

In addition to his parents one step- brother precedes him in death.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022, 10:00 AM at Summer Shade Cemetery , with Mark Park officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with funeral expense and left at McMurtrey Funeral Home.
