Dennis Kirk McClendon, 73, of Bowling Green , formerly of Burkesville passed away July 23, 2019 at his residence. Born September 15, 1945 in Glasgow , Ky. he was the son of the late Dennis Robert and Marshall Smith McClendon.

He was a truck driver for 48 years and of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include one daughter Christina Grace McClendon of Franklin ; one son Dennis Todd (Jackie) McClendon of Bowling Green; one sister Margaret Katherine Anderson of Burkesville; two grandchildren Tristen Paige Jenkins and Doc Colton McClendon; two step grandchildren Hilary Carder and Michael Carder and one great grandchild Blakley Grace Perkins.

In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by one daughter Tonya Gail McClendon.

There will be no immediate services as cremation was chosen.

McMurtrey Funeral Home is assisting the family.
