Darla Faye Shirley Hester, age 60, of Glasgow passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at T J Samson Hospital. Born December 31, 1960 in Glasgow , she was the daughter of Clarence Shirley and Wanda Mae Glass.

She worked at several factories and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, Justin (Kaiseylayne) Hester, Glasgow; one grandchild, Emersyn Rae Hester; her son's grandmother, Joyce "Ma" Hester; sister- in- law, Wendy Haney; father of her son, Robert Hester;  special friend, Jerry Landrum; nephew, Matthew Haney; and niece Laura Haney..

Funeral services will be Monday, September 13, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home with Frank Stratton officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery . Visitation will be Monday, September 13, after 11:00 A.M. until time of services at 2:00.
