Bobby G Hagan, 63, of Summer Shade, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Monroe County Medical Center . Born April 4, 1957 in Tompkinsville he was a son of the late George and Mary Jewell (White) Hagan. On August 20, 1988 he married Barbara Smith Hagan, who survives.

He worked as a factory supervisor for Kentucky Apparel and was a truck driver. He was a member of the Meshack Missionary Baptist Church .

Survivors other than his wife, include sisters Patsy (Tim) Harper, Summer Shade, Brenda (Nelson) Gettings, Tompkinsville, and Sherry (Greg) Wheeler, Edinburgh, IN; mother in law, Ellen Smith; sister in law, Nancy Miller; nieces Cindy Day, Amy Miller, Jalyn Turner, and Brittany Piercefield; nephews, Bronson Bowker, Daniel Miller, and Kiefer Wheeler; step nephews, Kyle and Daniel Gettings; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death besides his parents, by one sister, Judy Mae Hagan; niece Jerica Hammer, and father in law, Clifton L Smith.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 15, 2020 with limited attendance at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with Brother Stanley Wooten, officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Mt Hermon Cemetery in Monroe County . A walk through visitation will be Monday, December 14, 2020, 2:00-8:00 P.M, and on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, 8:00- 12:00.
