Bille Jo Smith, age 74, of Glasgow passed away Saturday, May, 20, 2023 at the TJ Samson Community Hospital. She was born June 23, 1948 in Brazil , Indiana to the late Benjamin Johnson and Mary Jaynes Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years Merle Smith of Glasgow; five daughters Lisa Hicks, Shirley Smith, Laura Wilder, Linda Whittle and Jackie Buchanan (Dave), two sons Donny Wright (Shellie) and Daniel Smith (Holly), one sister Rebecca Hawkins, and a sister in law Marilyn Johnson, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Johnson and Augustus Johnson.

Cremation was chosen by the family and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
