Barry Lynn Hodges, age 45, of Summer Shade, died Sunday, February 10 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky. He was a farmer and the son of Loyd Hodges, of Summer Shade and the late Brenda Lyons Hodges. In addition  to his father, he is also survived by 2 sisters, Tammy Hodges and Karyn Hodges of Summer Shade. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Helma Lyons of Tompkinsville, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 13, at 1:00 PM at Goodson Chapel Methodist Church with Bro. Darrick Proffitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday, February 12 at 4:00 PM at the funeral home and will be after 11 at the church on Wednesday until time for the funeral. Memorials are suggested to Kosair Hospital or the Summer Shade Fire Department.
