Carol lived life fully, boldly, and entirely on her own terms. Independent, fearless, and fiercely devoted to the people she loves. Carol was the kind of woman who would stand toe-to-toe with anyone for her family without hesitation. She was strong-willed, protective, and always the one leading the way.

Carol wasn’t content sitting on the sidelines of life, she led her friends and family with confidence, humor, and determination, her personality was tough around the edges, but underneath was a woman who cared deeply and showed her love through action. She believed in staying ahead of life, always prepared, always proactive, and never willing to be left behind.

Carol traveled far and wide, experiencing adventures that many only dream about. She embraced every moment with energy and excitement. Well into her later years, she was still riding four-wheelers and golf carts, flying down slip-in-slides in her 70’s, and teaching water aerobics with enthusiasm that inspired everyone around her. She was never the stereotypical grandmother content sitting quietly at home. Carol was vibrant, outgoing, and truly alive.

Though dementia eventually stole pieces of her memory, it never erased the remarkable life she lives or the impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her. Carol’s strength, spirit, and unforgettable presence will continue to live through the countless stories, laughter, and memories she leaves behind.  She was a member of Summer Shade Baptist Church.
