She is survived by her husband, Leslie Schoepflin of Summer Shade, KY. Her sons, Shannon(Amy) Gould, Leif and Lyle Schoepflin. Daughter in Law, Joeleana Schoepflin. Grandchildren, Kenneth and Samantha Gould, Jermario Schoepflin. Great-granddaughter Elowyn Gould. Also survived by her siblings, brother/sister in laws, many nieces and nephews and her dog Shadow.
She was predeceased by her parents, her oldest son Leslie Jr.(Lil Red), and an infant grandson Alvin Schoepflin.
Mrs. Schoepflin retired from Metcalfe Pre-School where she enjoyed her time with all the kids. She attended Riverlake Church in Glasgow. KY. She loved to just sit and scroll through facebook, find a good sale on Marketplace, all while jamming out to music. Mrs. Schoepflin also helped out at the local food pantry. She and her husband went on numerous trips to watch NHRA drag racing. Doing for others was a passion of hers. Making someone else happy made her heart happy. She believed saying goodbye was too final, so she ended every conversation with See Ya or Peace Out.
In Honoring Mrs. Schoepflin's wish, cremation was chosen. There will be no visitation or services at this time. McMurtrey Funeral Home is assisting the family with their services.
