Loretta Gayle Bray
Jessee, age 73, of Summer Shade passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Greenview Regional Hospital.
Born September 30, 1948 in Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Mahala
(Gilley) and Taft Bray and the wife of 53 years of Larry Jessee, who survives.
Gayle worked for
several years in the cafeteria at Metcalfe
County High
School and was of the Baptist faith
Survivors include
one daughter, Brenda Johnson, Bowling Green; two
sisters, Brenda Sue Devore and Wandalene Page both of Edmonton;
one brother, Kenneth Bray, Edmonton;
two grandchildren, Traevonn (fiancé Misty Henry) Burris and Braylee Johnson; and one great grand
child, Wyatt Burris.
Preceding her in
death besides her parents, was one sister, Gene Goode and one brother Gerald
Bray.
Funeral
services will be Friday, October 22, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at McMurtrey Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill
Cemetery in Metcalfe County.
Visitation will be Friday, October 22, 2021, 10:00 A.M. until time of services
at 2:00
